The Bathmaster Xtra is fully portable and is simple to tackle in and out of the bath. Separating into two parts, to make handling easier, the seat locks down when folded for safe transportation. With a steady, quiet action, the Bathmaster Xtra is raised and lowered effortlessly using a hand control with broad pads that are designed to be operated using any part of the hand. The built in safety mechanism ensures that if the batteries are running down, the lift cannot be lowered, but it can always be raised. Large side flaps allow easy transfer in and out of the bath, which may be further improved by utilising the optional swivelling transfer seat. The feet may be angled in many directions to suit the curvature of the bath bottom.

Our basketweave commode is a traditional wooden frame commode chair with woven fibre upholstery in white and beige. The removable seat conceals a plastic commode pan and lid with carrying handle. The high chair sides provide support when rising.

Whether it’s into the house or into the car, we have a ramp to suit your needs. Action Mobility has many different ramps available including rigid, folding and telescopic ramps in a variety of materials including fibreglass and aluminium. When choosing a ramp, the length, and therefore the angle of the ramp, depends on: the height to be raised; the weight of the chair/vehicle and users, and the strength of the helper or user. As a general guide a rise of 1 in 12 is suggested. For loading an unmanned wheelchair or scooter into a vehicle, a higher gradient can be used, but this should not exceed 1 in 3.
